Disney Rant Time
Ok, you know how Disney princesses are role models for a bunch of little girls? Well they should'nt be. Snow white lived in a tiny house in the woods with SEVEN other men. Cinderella never listened and snuck out at night. Rapunzell just moped around the tower all day. Sleeping Beauty never got up when her mom said. And if Cinderella's shoes fit her so gosh darn perfectly, HOW THE HECK DID IT FALL OFF? Jasmine fell in love with a thief. And they set inane figures. Jasmine is skinny enough to get one hand around her waist, and her hair is the size of a tree trunk. And now Swampy will get mad at me for posting twice in one day.

First of all, and not applicable to this post, try and make sure you credit images. Second of all, quit just regurgitating things you find on the Internet, or if you must, do it rarely and NOT TO BASH DISNEY. >:I (Oh and heads up, these are all Grimms's stories, Disney didn't write them.) Now then, a proper rebuttal! Snow White, despite her circumstances, was still the nicest person you'd ever meet. A bit vapid, yes, but she's 14, what can I say. ;) Cinderella decided to grow a spine, and stand up for herself, for once. Rapunzel... Well, Rapunzel decided to read a book, or maybe two or three, add a few new paintings to her gallery, and then she brushed and brushed and brushed and brushed her hair, stuck in the same place she'd always been. And she kept wondering and wondering and wondering and wondering, when would her life begin? SLEEPING BEAUTY WAS UNDER AN ENCHANTMENT. Cinderella's shoes came off because she ran down several flights of stairs in heels. I don't care how well the shoe fits, if you do that, it's gonna come off. And you'll probably faceplant, too, but I digress. What's wrong with Jasmine falling in love with a thief? Aladdin did what he had to to survive. Remind me if you ever end up in the slums somewhere stealing your dinner to place an ad to make sure nobody falls in love with you. :P And yes, their "inane figures" are a bit unrealistic, but hey, so are most images of women you see. Don't pick out Disney for that. The hair I'll give you, but don't be hatin', because if you were Glen Keane, wouldn't you want to go a little crazy once in a while? Oh, and let's not forget the others; Tiana overcame racial and gender stereotypes to succeed with her own business, Pocahontas SAVED FRICKING AMERICA from that fat British dude, Belle had the guts to go against the norm, Ariel followed her heart (plus she's a mermaid, so everything she does is awesome anyway) and Mulan had the courage to take her father's burden, and eventually overcome extreme gender bias. COME AT ME, SIS.
